![]() ![]() It has a permadeath system in the game where you will die, probably many times, but you then play as a new adventurer. The death system in Unexplored 2: The Wayfarer's Legacy is one of the most innovative and interesting that I have ever seen. There will be monsters to fight, secrets to find and tribes to encounter on your way to destroy the staff. It sounds like such a simple game, but it is way deeper than you could imagine and that is because of the very interesting roguelike elements that this game has. The first trailer I saw for Unexplored 2: The Wayfarer's Legacy I was sure that it would have had a deep XP system, require grinding, a million upgrades, and so on, but that is not the case here. It is this staff that the plot of the game is based around, it is called the Staff of Yendor and you need to destroy it. Anyway, the plot of the game is about a strange world full of monsters, tribes, treasure, and a magical staff. You get a real Legend of Zelda vibe from the way that Unexplored 2: The Wayfarer's Legacy looks, I would also throw in a bit of the recent Deaths Door there too. However, I also was mad because I completely missed the first game! I never even heard of it, but rather than go back and play it, I decided to download the demo for this, and man, it was every bit as good as I had hoped and it is one of the surprise hits of 2022 for me. First of all, this looks freaking amazing I said to myself. ![]() When a buddy told me about Unexplored 2: The Wayfarer's Legacy and I had a look to see what it was all about, my mind was blown. ![]()
